The Villa Casablanca community BBQ, held on Saturday 4 October at the pool area, was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by residents from across the complex. With sunny skies and a great turnout, it was a fantastic opportunity for neighbours to come together, share a meal, and get to know each other a little better.
Approximately 35 residents attended throughout the afternoon, including a number of newer owners and tenants who had the chance to meet their neighbours for the first time. The BBQ featured sausages, burgers, salads, and refreshments, with plenty to go around. Several residents also brought along homemade dishes to share, which was a lovely touch.
The committee would like to extend a sincere thank you to the volunteers who helped organise and run the event, from setting up tables and chairs to managing the BBQ and tidying up afterwards. Events like these are only possible thanks to the generosity of residents who give their time. A special thanks also goes to the committee members who coordinated the catering and supplies.
Given the positive feedback received, the committee plans to hold community events on a regular basis going forward.
